The Kaikohe Repair Cafe opened its doors inside the Pioneer Village in Kaikohe (museum) in November 2022, having moved from Paihia earlier in the year. The concept of "repair cafe" became hugely popular during its first 3 years in Paihia and it is now gaining popularity in its new location in Kaikohe.
