Here at the Hastings Repair Cafe we have many volunteers that can fix all sorts of things. From electrical items, to clothing and textiles, jewellery, knife sharpening, bike repairs and general goods - anything from a broken china doll to a furniture leg.
Essentially If you are able to carry your broken item yourself, please bring it in and we will happily take a look to see if the team here can repair it.
We also have a lovely group of people who donate baking and fruit to provide for the cafe side of things. If you're able to bring in a gold coin donation towards a cup of tea, coffee, or for the repair, that will go towards helping to keep this sustainable.
We switch locations every month as we're aiming to take the repair cafe to the community and help remove some of the barriers people may have to get their items repaired, so please follow us on Facebook and Instagram to find out where we're going to be next.
